This Privacy Policy describes how Forem Innovations Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Forem Suite family of mobile applications ("Apps"), including Forem Tasks, Forem Notes, Spend Wisely, Roadly, Forem Weather, Forem Meet, Forem Care, Forem News, 4M Cart, and FlavorFinder AI.

By using our Apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture to create and manage your account.
• User Content: Tasks, notes, expenses, health records, and other content you create within our Apps are stored locally on your device and, if you enable sync, in your connected cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud).
• Support Requests: If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and the content of your communication.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
• Usage Data: App version, feature usage patterns, crash reports, and performance data to help us improve our Apps.
• Location Data: Only collected when explicitly required for app functionality (e.g., Roadly for toll calculation, Forem Weather for forecasts) and only with your permission.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect or store your passwords.
• We do not read, access, or analyse the content of your notes, tasks, expenses, or health data.
• We do not collect data for advertising purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Apps and services.
• Sync your data across devices when you enable cloud sync.
• Send important service-related communications (e.g., security alerts, app updates).
• Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling, or any form of data monetisation.

3. Data Storage & Security

3.1 Offline-First Architecture

Most Forem Suite apps are built with an offline-first architecture. This means your data is stored locally on your device by default. You maintain full control over your data at all times.

3.2 Cloud Sync

When you enable cloud sync (via Google Sign-in or Apple ID), your data is stored in your own cloud storage account. We do not maintain separate copies of your synced data on our servers.

3.3 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL.
• Biometric lock and master password options within select Apps.
• End-to-end encryption for Forem Meet video calls.
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

4. Third-Party Services

Our Apps may integrate with the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-in / Apple Sign-in: For authentication and cloud sync.
• Google Drive / iCloud: For data backup and sync (only when enabled by you).
• Firebase (Google): For crash reporting and performance monitoring.
• Weather APIs: For providing forecast data in Forem Weather.
• NHAI Data: For toll calculations in Roadly.

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information promptly.

If you access our Apps from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
